This “crash course” immerses participants in the experience of “working while Black.” Through the framework of R.A.V.E. – respect, appreciate, value, empower—participants will hear about the workplace experiences of several Black professionals in their own words. The power of their stories will take participants from theory to reality while at the same time providing actionable meaning for respecting, appreciating, valuing, and empowering Black employees. In a self-paced experience that includes video instruction, interactive quizzes and “Do the Work” assignments, participants will know how to R.A.V.E. about Black employees in words and deeds. Individual enrollment price

Master Trainer TMR & Associates delivers engaging, interactive, and transformational learning and development experiences to equip organizations with the awareness, competency, tools, confidence, and desire to sustainably model everyday habits of Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Well-Being, and the foundation to effectively assess current systems and initiatives, and to implement more inclusive and equitable ones. We call this doing the “HEART Work.”
FOR INDIVIDUALS: Chronologically is recommended for most as it takes you on a purposeful journey from lesson to lesson. And in the case of the signature course, from Foundation to Application to Action. However, this is your journey, your path. There are no prerequisites. FOR GROUPS: We recommend taking this journey as a cohort and creating pre-established meeting points at the completion of each module. These meetings can be an online, live in-person and/or live virtual discussion groups.
If you don't have any special requests then just contact us via email and let us know how many employees you would like to enroll and we'll send you an invoice. Yes. Customization options include: 1) exclusive course platform for your entity or group of cohorts, 2) ability to custom brand the course, 3) ability to include a welcome and kick-off video message from your entity's leader, 4) ability to custom name the course, 5) ability to custom select modules and/or lessons for course inclusion, 6) ability to add custom lessons, worksheets, quizzes, surveys, etc., 7) ability to create private online lesson discussion groups, 8) ability to create a private online course community, 9) ability to license the course for group gatherings, 10) other custom requests. It's possible. But we caution against rushing through the course and skipping or not fully engaging in the "Do The Work" and "Think It Through" assignments or not allowing adequate time for self-reflection. The course has 40 Lessons (approximately 4+ hours of video instruction and 8+ hours of assignments and activities), so we recommend spreading the course out over 2 or more days.
Once enrolled you have 6 months of access to the course, unless your organization has alternate terms. All pdf course documents can be downloaded or printed for lifetime use.
Yes. Closed captioning is available for all videos.
Yes. You would need to contact us for group-experience pricing. An individual course license can not be used for group viewing. The course is very modular with most lessons taking less than 30 minutes from start to finish.
